TARGETING OPTIMAL GUT HEALTH
Our patented gut-health ingredient,
IgY Max®
targets non-beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract to combat the source of dysbiosis.
IgY Max is a specifically immunized egg powder
IgY Max can be formulated as a stand-alone product or in combination with other ingredients in a powder, capsule, or chewable format.
Reduces Side Effects of Poor GI Health
- Increases gut wall integrity by reducing inflammatory stress
- Improves bowel function by promoting growth of beneficial flora
Promotes the Growth of Healthy Bacteria
- Provides targeted immune protection against 26 human-relevant bacteria
- Reduces bacterial competition to free up nutrients and space in the microbiome
Helps Normalize Inflammatory Responses
- Supplements the immune system’s inventory of regulatory factors
- Helps regulate the release of inflammatory cytokines
HOW IgY MAX WORKS
Made with specifically immunized egg powder,
IgY Max® provides targeted protection against non-beneficial bacteria in the gut.
- Strain-specific IgY proteins support the immune system’s natural defenses by targeting 26 specific strains of human-relevant bacteria in the digestive tract.
- Regulatory co-factors are used by the body to maintain a proper inflammatory response and reduce excess inflammatory stress.
THE GUT IS A GARDEN
Like a garden overrun with weeds, imbalance in the gut (dysbiosis) occurs because non-beneficial bacteria have taken up residence in the GI tract.
IgY Max® targets harmful bacteria to increase the amount of available space and nutrients which beneficial flora need to survive.
IgY or IgG?
IgY, or avian immunoglobulins, have distinct advantages over other immunoglobulin products on the market such as those derived from mammalian immunoglobulins, or IgG.
Due to structural differences, mammalian immunoglobulins can bind to human Fc receptors and incite an immune reaction, potentially increasing inflammatory stress.
By contrast, IgY from specifically immunized egg helps reduce inflammatory stress underlying chronic conditions. Because laying hens can be simultaneously immunized against multiple human pathogens, we are able to produce a multivalent IgY product.
